About the Competition
The Birmingham International Piano Competition is committed to the art of the piano recital and provides young pianists aged from 18 to 28 a chance to further their career and perform in world-class venues.
Over the course of two preliminary rounds three outstanding pianists are chosen for the Final in Birmingham’s historic Town Hall, where they perform a recital in an intimate atmosphere created by seating in the round.
